 Our Club Coach, Mark Scholfield, runs FREE Junior Evenings included in the Junior membership subscription in the Summer Term. Choose Mondays OR Thursdays from 26th April for 8 weeks (excluding Half Term, Bank Holidays and heavy rain.)

The age groups are split as follows:

4:30 - 5:00pm 5 to 8 year olds Structured coaching
5:00 - 5:30pm 9+ years and 11+ beginners Structured coaching
5:30 - 7:30pm 11+ years intermediates Play and stroke development
Arrive from 4:30pm to play before your session and 11+ beginners may continue playing after their coaching.

Other Junior Tennis

Extra Tournaments on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May from 4:30pm

  • Boys: Road to Wimbledon tournament for boys aged 14 and under (ie born in 1996 or later). We need a minimum of 8 players.
  • Girls: Round Robin Tournament (since 8 is the minimum for RTW)
  • Juniors aged 14+: Enter the club's Annual Mixed Doubles Tournament 9:30am - 3pm.

Annual Junior Tournaments

Categories 13 and under and 17 and under - draw on Monday 17th May.

End of Term Tournament(s)

In the week commencing 5th July (later if any of the earlier coaching sessions were washed out by rain).

Holidays

Junior members can play at any time that there's court space available, which is almost always, so please do. Times to avoid are Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. You are welcome to bring the occasional guest for a fee of £ 2 per guest per visit.
